Inner Turbulence

Expressive drip and finger paintings scanned and combined, each created in response to and exhibitied alongside an attributed Jackson Pollock painting for the Exchange Art Gallery opening exhibition in the Hamptons, NY 2022. Inner Turbulence explores a frantic state of mind, with the physical-to-digital process allowing me to not only express emotions physically, but later re-experience, connect and enhance them from a new perspective digitally. This series is dark, personal and chaotic – reflective of our turbulent minds and pays homage to Pollock’s own mental struggles which he endured throughout his career and life.
